About this tool

A lightweight, dependency-free Node.js tool for publishing posts to Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts through the Meta Graph API. Post text and images from the command line or wire it into a cron job for scheduled publishing. Includes a token validator, clear error handling with Meta trace IDs, and the correct two-step Instagram media flow. Zero runtime dependencies — just Node and your Meta credentials.

Good to know

This is a developer tool, not a no-code app. You need your own Meta App with a System User access token, the relevant permissions (pages_manage_posts, instagram_content_publish), and Business verification. Long-lived tokens still expire, so you'll re-generate them periodically. Instagram requires a Business account and publicly reachable image URLs (it cannot upload local files directly). Facebook can post text directly or with an image URL.
