How to create a listing
A complete guide to listing your AI tool on clAIssified.
Creating a listing takes about 10–15 minutes. Go to Dashboard → New Listing, or click "Sell a Tool" in the navigation.
Required information
- Title — clear, descriptive, specific (e.g. "Invoice Automation Bot for Shopify" not "AI Tool")
- Category — choose the most relevant category
- Tool type — Web App, Automation, Chrome Extension, API Tool, Prompt Library, or Dataset
- Listing type — Full Transfer (you transfer ownership) or Use License (buyer gets access rights)
- Price — in EUR, one-time
- Tool status — Active, Maintenance, or Needs work
- Description — detailed explanation of what the tool does, tech stack, and what's included
- Screenshots — at least one screenshot or preview image
- Tags — up to 8 keywords that describe your tool (optional, but highly recommended)
Tags & how buyers find your tool
Buyers discover tools three ways: by browsing a category, by typing in the search bar, and through tags. Tags are keywords you add to your listing — the search matches them alongside your title and description, so good tags directly increase how often your tool shows up.
- Add up to 8 tags, comma-separated (e.g. invoicing, gpt-4, shopify, automation).
- Use the words a buyer would actually search for — the tools, platforms, and the problem you solve.
- Skip filler tags like "AI" or "tool" — they are too generic to help anyone find you.
Pricing your tool
Price based on time saved, not time spent building. A tool that saves a business 10 hours/month is worth €500–2,000 even if it took you 20 hours to build.
Typical price ranges
Simple automation or prompt library: €50–300. Chrome extension or API tool: €200–800. Full web app or SaaS: €500–5,000.
What not to do
Do not underprice to get quick sales — it devalues AI tools marketplace-wide and attracts buyers who will be difficult to support.
Review process
After submitting, your listing is reviewed by our team within 48 hours. We check that it matches community guidelines, the description is accurate, and screenshots are real. You'll be notified by email when approved or if changes are needed. Note: editing an already-live listing sends it back to review — it goes offline until re-approved, so make all your changes at once.
